OFFICIAL HOT SHOTS 2V2 RULES

Hot Shots 2v2 is the fastest head-to-head basketball shooting competition. Teams race against the clock using speed, teamwork, and accuracy. The first team to complete both shooters wins.

Timed head-to-head race

● Teams of 2

● 2 basketballs

● Coin toss decides starting side

● Timed competition

● First team to complete both shooters wins

Game Flow

● 3 layups

● 5 designated three-point spots

● Shooters switch after completing all spots

● Both teammates must finish

● First team to finish the complete shooting course wins

Shooting Order

Shooter 1 (Starts on Left Block)
● Left Corner
● Left Wing
● Top of Key
● Right Wing
● Right Corner

Shooter 2 (Starts on Right Block)

● Right Corner
● Right Wing
● Top of Key
● Left Wing
● Left Corner
Note: The shooter starting on the opposite side follows the same five spots in reverse order, finishing on the opposite corner.

VIOLATIONS & PENALTIES

Fair Play Requirements

• Missed shots must be retaken from the same shooting spot until made.

• Shooters must complete each designated shooting spot before advancing.

• Rebounders begin at the free-throw line and are released immediately after their shooter makes the third layup.

• Rebounders may not interfere with the opposing team’s basketball or players.

• Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or intentional interference may result in a warning, time penalty, match loss, or disqualification.

• Tournament officials have final authority on all rulings.
